User Agreement
Introduction

This document describes the conditions of use and limitations of the Individual Growth and Development Indicators for Infants and Toddlers (the IGDI Infants and Toddlers Website). The website serves as a tool for parents, caregivers, program providers, and others interested in monitoring the growth and development of individuals and groups of children, ages birth to 3 and in some cases up to 4 years old. This User Agreement is a contract between the University of Kansas (the University), the faculty and staff who have designed and developed the site and its content (the Developers), and the persons entering, managing, and receiving progress reports from the IGDI website (the Users). This agreement covers a range of issues as outlined below.

Purpose

The IGDI Infants and Toddlers website serves as a central source for learning, accessing, and utilizing assessment tools and supporting data services for entering and reporting results. The website focuses on three core areas:

Learning about specific IGDI measures
Acquiring protocols and forms for conducting assessments of individual children
Using data services to enter, report, and interpret the results of these assessments.

The site also provides management support for the private use of its data services by individual projects and programs. For example, these tools allow State Directors of Part C or Early Head Start to organize their own databases, which local program directors can further use to manage their staff roster of approved assessors and data entry staff. The management tool also allows directors and coordinators to monitor staff productivity and certification.

All pages, material, artwork, photos, video clips, protocols, and content accessible on the website are the property of the University of Kansas, unless otherwise stated. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable authorization to access, print, and use these materials for limited purposes such as assessing growth and development, describing early childhood interventions, and/or conducting educational or developmental research. Users are expected to credit the University and the Developers when disseminating these materials.

Ownership

While all materials on the website are copyrighted, the data entered by Users (including User Information, Child Information, and Child Data System, etc.) are not owned by the University.

Consent to Enter Child Data

Users bear the responsibility of obtaining all necessary permissions and consents for entering information into the IGDI website and for using that information in accordance with this User Agreement.
